Unfortunately, Systemic and Skin Lupus are both incurable, and stay with you for life. Currently there is no cure available.
Lupus Nephritis is a different story, as is Lupus brought on by pregnancy. Both of those situations will often result in the elimination of the disease.
However, Systemic and Skin Lupus are the two most common forms of the disease, and neither of them are curable.
